About KnowYourReps

What this site is

KnowYourReps tracks every recorded House and Senate roll call since 2023 — what was voted on, and how each member voted. Every vote links back to the official record it came from.

Where the data comes from

• Clerk of the U.S. House — House roll call votes
• U.S. Senate — Senate roll call votes
• Congress.gov — bill text, status and actions
• unitedstates/congress-legislators — member and term data
• Federal Election Commission — campaign money
• U.S. Census Bureau — district boundaries and address/ZIP lookups

Data is refreshed nightly.

What this site doesn't do

KnowYourReps shows no ideology, leadership or effectiveness scores, no party-loyalty percentages, and no editorial content or commentary. It shows what was voted on and how each member voted — nothing more.
